…to photograph is to frame, and to frame is to exclude. Susan Sontag

During an 8-day road trip around the South Island, New Zealand I started to take images from where we stopped on the roadside. This ad-hock framing of the landscape was a bit of a liberation from the my usual practice of considered compositions.
