Brick Lane Street Art
The street art in Brick Lane, East London has a unique energy and vitality that is colourful, challenging and inspirational. The catchy visual layering from the creative minds at play here is beautiful in a fragile and transient way.
My suggestion is to work your way down Brick Lane from Whitechapel or Aldgate East tube. There is some passable coffee houses and a couple of terrific vintage shops to be enjoyed along with the street art. When the street art dries up towards the end of the street reward yourself with some of the best beigels outside of NYC at Beigel Bake. If you need more of a temptation to enjoy the delights of this area the Brick Lane market is on Sundays and is filled with delicious food and more vintage/second-hand wonders.
